Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) and the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), saw Franklin's soccer squad triumph over Tuscola by a count of 7-1.

The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, North Henderson was overwhelmed by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Mountaineers battle the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 29. Tuscola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
