In Monday's non-league test, the host Nash Central Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars.
With the win, Nash Central improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to face the Guardians in a test on Tuesday, September 23. The Guardians go into the test with a record of 11-1. Wake Prep Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC)
Next, the Cougars meet the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. SouthWest Edgecombe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
