Fans at Monday's league outing between the West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) and the host Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA), saw West Middlesex's soccer squad hold off Commodore Perry by a score of 1-0.

The Big Reds (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Hornets enter the non-league outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Hickory tipped Greenville (Greenville, PA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Panthers now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sharpsville for a District 10 Region 1 test on Tuesday, September 30.
