The Cougars (12-6) will now prepare for their match against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs come into the District 53 match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Hazard achieved victory over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 2-0, in a league match.

The Cavaliers now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Shelby Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, September 25. Jenkins will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-12.
