The Patton Panthers soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting West Caldwell Warriors to 2 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now hold a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Rutherford for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, September 24. Patton will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Chase (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-5.

The Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats enter the Western Piedmont 3A/4A game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Draughn by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 6-0, in a league game.
