In Monday's league outing, the host West Henderson Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the Pisgah Bears.

The Falcons (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs enter the Mountain Eight 4A/5A outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Smoky Mountain by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bears confront the Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A test, on Wednesday, September 24. Pisgah will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
