In Monday's non-league outing, the host West Stokes Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the South Stokes Sauras.

The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the Northwest 3A/4A outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Mount Airy got by North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Sauras clash with the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a Greater Triad 1A/2A game, on Thursday, September 25. South Stokes will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 6-4 league win over Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC).
