The LaFayette Ramblers triumphed over the visiting Gilmer Bobcats softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Ramblers play the Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA) in a 3A Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, September 23. LaFayette will attempt to better on its 20-3 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 12-11 record after their 15-7 league loss to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA).

With the loss, Gilmer moves to 14-13 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to meet the Bruins in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Monday, September 29. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 7-16. Northwest Whitfield lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Heritage (Ringgold, GA)
