The Porter Pirates softball squad (Porter, OK), was routed 9-1 in Monday's non-league bout with the host Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK)
The Pirates (14-11) will now prepare for their bout against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Eagles go into the 4A District 7 contest with a 13-16 record. In their last contest, Sequoyah was routed by Kansas (Kansas, OK), 4-0, in a non-league contest.
The Pirates now hold a 5-19 record. They play next when they host Wetumka for a Class A contest on Tuesday, September 23. Porter will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Asher (Asher, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 16-8.
