Georgia High School Softball - Stockbridge knocked off by Locust Grove

In Monday's league outing, the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) softball team routed the visiting Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA), by a margin of 17-5.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ola for a 4A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 23. Locust Grove will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 6-1 league win over Union Grove (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-3.

The Tigers (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Hornets go into the 4A Region 2 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Hampton was routed by Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA), 18-17, in a league test.
