The Yellow Jackets (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 15-3 record. In their last match, Citizens Christian Academy tipped Vidalia Heritage Academy (Vidalia, GA), 20-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 game, on Tuesday, September 23. Metter will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The War Eagles enter the game with a 8-9 record after their 13-4 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA).
