In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Alexandria Valley Cubs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Jacksonville Golden Eagles.

The Valley Cubs (29-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Anniston (Anniston, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Area 12 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Anniston was defeated by Cherokee County (Centre, AL), 3-0, in a league test.

The Golden Eagles now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee County for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Jacksonville will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 25-6.
