The Buckingham Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Altavista Colonels to 2 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lunenburg Central for a James River outing on Thursday, September 25. Buckingham will play a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Altavista drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Colonels host Gretna (Gretna, VA) to play the Hawks in a Dogwood outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 7-2. Gretna won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
