The Anderson County Mavericks edged the host Russell County Lakers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mavericks confront the Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. Anderson County will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 11-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Hardin (Radcliff, KY).
