With the win, Antioch improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Hillsboro (Nashville, TN) to face the Burros in a AAA District 11 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Burros go into the test with a record of 16-8. Hillsboro won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawson (Nashville, TN)

Next, the Lions meet the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks (Hendersonville, TN) in a A District 9 challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Independence Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Beech (Hendersonville, TN).
