The Barren County Trojans volleyball squad (Glasgow, KY), dropped 2-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY)

The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers enter the District 16 contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Russell County was knocked off by Anderson County (Clinton, TN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Trojans battle the Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) in a District 15 contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Barren County will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Scotties enter the contest with a 12-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
