South Carolina High School Volleyball - Calhoun County tips Swansea

September 22, 2025: St. Matthews, SC 29135

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) and the visiting Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC), observed Calhoun County's volleyball team hold off Swansea by a count of 3-2.

The Saints (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Trojans enter the A Region 4 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Ridge Spring-Monetta was tipped by Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newberry for a AAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, September 23. Swansea will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
