California High School Volleyball - Grant over Verdugo Hills

The Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), 3-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Lancers now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Arleta for a East Valley bout on Thursday, September 25. Grant will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-0.

The Dons (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles enter the East Valley match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Chavez notched a victory over Monroe (North Hills, CA), 3-0, in a league match.
