Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions (Sewanee, TN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Panthers come into the A District 5 challenge with a 19-7 record.
Next, the Mountain Lions play the South Pittsburg Pirates (South Pittsburg, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. St. Andrews-Sewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Grundy County (Coalmont, TN).
