The Magoffin County Hornets topped the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Magoffin County will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY).

With the loss, June Buchanan drops to 4-10 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to play the Cavaliers in a District 53 outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 2-8.
