The Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) volleyball knocked off the visiting Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 24. Maloney will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Windsor was outscored by Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT), 3-1, in a non-league match.
