The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 13-2. Mesquite won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ)

The Padres now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cactus Shadows for a 4A - Desert Sky battle on Thursday, September 25. Marcos de Niza will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 11-2.
