The Vikings (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors enter the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Monta Vista notched a victory over Homestead (Cupertino, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Spartans battle the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle, on Wednesday, September 24. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Saratoga (Saratoga, CA).
