Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL) and the host Talladega Tigers (Talladega, AL), observed Saks's volleyball team top Talladega by a tally of 3-1.

The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wellborn (Anniston, AL). The Panthers enter the 3A Area 9 contest with a 1-10 record.

Next, the Tigers meet the Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) in a 4A Area 8 test, on Tuesday, September 23. Talladega will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, AL).
