The Somerton Toros volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Yuma Criminals to 0 in the Toros non-league triumph on Monday.

The Toros now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Calipatria for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 24. Somerton will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Central (El Centro, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-9.

The Criminals (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons enter the 4A - Black Canyon match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Dysart gained a win over Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league match.
