Fans at Monday's league contest between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), observed Venice's volleyball team top Westchester by a count of 3-0.

The Gondoliers (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins enter the Western contest with a 24-3 record. In their last contest, Palisades notched a victory over Royal (Simi Valley, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Comets now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University for a battle on Thursday, September 25. Westchester will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.
