In Thursday's league battle, the host North Kingstown Skippers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Portsmouth Patriots.
The Skippers (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Cumberland achieved victory over East Providence (East Providence, RI), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Patriots clash with the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 27. Portsmouth will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Townies come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
