In Friday's league match, the visiting Mathews Mustangs football squad scored a big 48-6 victory over the St. John Fighting Herald.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) in a Northeastern match, on Friday, September 30. Mathews will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Skippers enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 38-12 league loss to Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH).
The Fighting Herald (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs enter the Northeastern match with a 4-1 record.
