New Jersey High School Football - Verona tipped by Morris Catholic

September 23, 2022: Verona, NJ 07043

The Verona Hillbillies football team (Verona, NJ), was tipped 21-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ)

The Crusaders (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Hudson Catholic nipped Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 34-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Hillbillies now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Lakes for a Super - American Gold challenge on Friday, September 30. Verona will meet a Lakers team coming off a 14-7 league win over Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 4-0.
