New Mexico High School Soccer - Highland knocks off Grants

Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Highland will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record.
The Pirates now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Belen for a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Grants will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 3-8.
