The Calvary Day Cavaliers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Liberty County Panthers to 2 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Calvary Day improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, September 26. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 7-9. Bradwell Institute lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Coffee (Douglas, GA)

The Panthers (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Blue Tide enter the 3A Region 3 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Long County prevailed over Calvary Day (Savannah, GA), 5-3, in a league test.
