The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA) and the host Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA), saw Rosemead's volleyball squad nip Arroyo by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Rosemead upgrades its record to 1-9 on the year. The Panthers host Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA) to play the Eagles in a Mission Valley bout on Friday, September 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-7.

The Knights now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Marshall for a Mission Valley bout on Monday, September 26. Arroyo will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-6.
