Texas High School Volleyball - New Waverly over Coldspring-Oakhurst

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) and the visiting Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX), saw New Waverly's volleyball squad beat Coldspring-Oakhurst by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, New Waverly upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Onalaska (Onalaska, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Onalaska lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX)

The Trojans now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a 3A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, September 27. Coldspring-Oakhurst will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Crockett (Crockett, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-8.
