The Miller Place Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Comsewogue Warriors to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kellenberg Memorial for a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. Miller Place will meet a Firebirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Syosset, NY). The Firebirds record now stands at 13-0.

The Warriors (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Sayville (Sayville, NY). The Golden Flashes enter the Section 11 A-6 game with a 14-0 record. In their last game, Sayville gained a win over Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
