The crowd at Friday's league bout between the HOPE Academy Royals (Concord, NC) and the visiting NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks (Waxhaw, NC), saw HOPE Academy's volleyball squad nip NorthPoint Christian Academy by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, HOPE Academy upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Royals travel to St. Anne Catholic (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Eagles in a A Region 2 bout on Monday, September 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-4. St. Anne Catholic won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC)

The NightHawks now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Providence Classical for a bout on Tuesday, September 27. NorthPoint Christian Academy will play a squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The record now stands at 10-2.
