The Ray Texans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Miller Buccaneers to 2 in the Texans league victory on Friday.

The Texans now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flour Bluff for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 27. Ray will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 25-6.

The Buccaneers (12-18) will now prepare for their game against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region IV District 29 game with a 10-25 record. In their last game, Gregory-Portland was nudged by Victoria West (Victoria, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
