The Sinton Pirates volleyball team (Sinton, TX), went down 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX)

The Pirates (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Sandcrabs enter the 4A Region IV District 30 challenge with a 26-4 record. In their last challenge, Calhoun defeated Jones (Beeville, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Sinton will attempt to move on its 18-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 26-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Ingleside (Ingleside, TX).
