The Ka'u Trojans (Pahala, HI) football routed the visiting Kohala Cowboys (Kapaau, HI), 60-14 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Pahoa Daggers (Pahoa, HI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 30. Ka'u will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Daggers enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 28-12 non-league loss to Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI).
The Cowboys (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors enter the Big Island II bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Kamehameha Hawai'i walloped Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI), 42-0, in a league bout.
