In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Hope Christian Huskies soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Farmington Scorpions.
The Huskies (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Moriarty Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
The Scorpions (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the 5A District 2 battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Sandia was overwhelmed by Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
