In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Schalmont Sabres soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Lansingburgh Knights.

The Sabres (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets come into the Colonial Council battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, La Salle Institute was overwhelmed by Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY), 4-0, in a league battle.

The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Watervliet (Watervliet, NY). The Cannoneers come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Watervliet was overwhelmed by Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY), 9-0, in a league battle.
