Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Lincoln Academy will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Mariners enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Waterville (Waterville, ME).

The Panthers now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Waterville for a Class B - North challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Medomak Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.
