The Pocahontas County Warriors smashed the visiting Midland Trail Patriots soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Saturday's league match.

The Warriors now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 26. Pocahontas County will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-2.
