The crowd at Saturday's league test between the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) and the host Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR), saw Riverside's soccer squad get by Nyssa by a count of 2-1.
The Pirates now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Four Rivers for a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 test on Tuesday, September 26. Riverside will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Nyssa drops to 6-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Weiser (Weiser, ID) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 2-7.
