The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) and the visiting Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), saw Prince Avenue Christian's softball squad achieve victory over Union County by a count of 8-0.

The Wolverines now sport a 22-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oconee County for a non-league match on Monday, September 25. Prince Avenue Christian will face a Warriors squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-16.

With the loss, Union County falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to face the Eagles in a 2A Region 8 match on Tuesday, September 26. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-9. East Jackson lost 15-1 in their recent league match against Banks County (Homer, GA)
