The Astoria Fishermen volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting St. Helens Lions to 0 in the Fishermen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Fishermen now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Bend for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23.
The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Fishermen enter the 4A Cowapa game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Astoria dropped by North Bend (North Bend, OR), 2-1, in a non-league game.
