The Beauregard Hornets volleyball team (Opelika, AL), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL)

The Red Devils (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Panthers enter the 7A Area 4 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Smiths Station was nudged by Northside (Columbus, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Valley Rams (Valley, AL) in a 5A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Beauregard will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Eufaula (Eufaula, AL).
