The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) and the visiting Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA), saw Southeast Valley's volleyball squad beat Bishop Garrigan by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Southeast Valley upgrades its record to 11-9 on the year. The Jaguars host East Sac County (Lake View, IA) to play the Raiders in a Twin Lakes bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 18-6.

The Golden Bears now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host North Union for a Top of Iowa - West bout on Monday, September 25. Bishop Garrigan will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-7.
