The Piute Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Bryce Valley Mustangs to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Saturday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milford for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Piute will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 0-9.

The Mustangs (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Tabiona (Tabiona, UT). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Tabiona dropped by Panguitch (Panguitch, UT), 3-0, in a non-league game.
