In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Burbank Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Hoover Tornados.

The Bulldogs (2-19) will now prepare for their battle against Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Mustangs come into the Pacific battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Muir was edged by Pasadena (Pasadena, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Tornados clash with the Arcadia Apaches (Arcadia, CA) in a Pacific battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 1-15 season record. The Apaches come into the battle with a 17-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).
