The Lugoff-Elgin Demons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars to 0 in the Demons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Demons now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irmo for a AAAA Region 5 game on Tuesday, September 26. Lugoff-Elgin will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-6.

The Cougars (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Cannon (Concord, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 13-2 record. In their last game, Cannon defeated Providence Day (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
